This Privacy Policy explains how AgreeMintZ, Inc. ("AgreeMintZ.ai," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our software-as-a-service contract management platform, related websites, and AI-powered features (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA). If there is a conflict, the Terms/EULA control for that topic.
1. Who we are / How to contact us

2. What we collect
We collect information in three main ways:
A. Information you give us
- Account details – name, business name, email, username, password.
- Billing-related details – we integrate with Stripe to process payments; Stripe may collect your card number, expiration, CVC, and billing address directly. We do not store full card numbers.
- Contracts and documents you upload – the actual contracts, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, PDFs, and other files you store in the Service ("Customer Content").
- Support communications – messages you send to support@agreemintz.ai.
B. Information collected automatically
- Log and usage data – IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, referring/exit pages, and actions (e.g., uploads, AI analysis runs).
- Cookies and similar tech – to keep you signed in, protect your account, and understand usage.
C. Information from third parties
- Payment processor (Stripe) – confirmation of payment, status, last 4 digits of card, expiration month/year, and fraud signals.
- AI / model providers – when an AI feature runs via a third party, we may receive metadata about success/failure and usage.
3. What we do with the information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and operate the Service – create accounts, let you upload/search/store contracts, run AI analysis, and show results.
- Process payments – through Stripe (credit/debit card only).
- Secure the Service – authentication, session management, fraud/abuse detection, rate limiting.
- Improve the Service – analytics about features used, performance, and errors.
- Communicate with you – service messages, support replies, updates about your subscription.
- Comply with law – legal requests, accounting, and audit requirements.
- Enable AI features – to generate summaries, extractions, or classifications of the contracts you upload (see Section 6).
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process your personal data on these legal bases:
- Contract – to provide the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests – to secure, maintain, and improve the Service, prevent abuse, and defend our rights.
- Legal obligation – to comply with applicable laws.
- Consent – where we rely on optional cookies or optional AI/training settings.
You can withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on it).
5. Customer Content (your contracts)
This is important for you:
- You own your Customer Content. As between you and us, you are the owner/controller of the contracts you upload.
- You must have the right to upload. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and process those contracts — including contracts that are subject to someone else’s NDA or confidentiality clause.
- We process on your instructions. For Customer Content, we act mainly as your processor/service provider: we host, store, and process it to deliver the Service to you.
- We don’t mine your contracts to sell data. We do not sell or publish your contracts.
- Backups. We may make routine backups; you should still maintain your own copies.
6. AI / LLM processing
Some features in AgreeMintZ.ai send the text or file you provide to an AI/LLM model (ours or a vetted third party) to generate a summary, clause extraction, risk callout, or other AI Output.
- We send only what’s needed to perform the feature (e.g., the contract text, your prompt, and minimal metadata).
- We require AI providers to protect the data and not use it to identify you, except where you’ve opted in or their standard terms allow aggregated, de-identified service improvement.
- AI Output can be wrong or incomplete; it is not legal advice.
- If you are contractually barred from disclosing certain contracts to cloud processors, do not upload those contracts to the AI features unless we have a signed DPA/BAA covering that use.
- If you want to limit or disable AI processing for certain users or workspaces, contact support@agreemintz.ai and we can discuss configuration options.
7. Who we share information with
We share information only as needed:
- Service providers / subprocessors – hosting, storage, AI/LLM, email delivery, logging, analytics, customer support. We require them to protect data.
- Payment processor (Stripe) – to process card payments and prevent fraud.
- Legal / safety – if we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights/users.
- Business transfers – if we merge, acquire, or sell assets, your information may transfer with the business. We will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy or a similar policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States (Georgia). If you access the Service from the EEA/UK or another region with data-transfer rules, your personal data may be transferred to the US.
Where we transfer personal data from the EEA/UK to the US or another non-adequate country, we will use a valid transfer mechanism (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses and, if needed, the UK Addendum), or another mechanism permitted under applicable law.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to:
- provide the Service,
- maintain business records,
- comply with law,
- resolve disputes, and
- enforce agreements.
If you close your account, we may retain certain information for a limited period (for example, to meet legal, tax, or audit requirements, or to allow you to re-activate). We may keep backups for a standard retention period.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information and Customer Content (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, logging).
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for:
- choosing a strong password,
- protecting your devices,
- setting appropriate roles/permissions for your users,
- not sending passwords or secrets in support tickets.
If we become aware of unauthorized access to personal data in our systems, we will notify you as required by law and describe our remediation steps.
11. Your rights
Your rights depend on where you live.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data (“right to be forgotten”) where we have no overriding legal basis to keep it;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent (where we rely on consent);
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, email support@agreemintz.ai. We may need to verify your identity.
If you are in California (summary):
- We don’t “sell” personal information. You may have the right to know what we collect and why.
- You may request deletion (subject to legal exceptions).
- You have the right to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

12. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we collected information from a child, contact support@agreemintz.ai and we will delete it.
13. Payments / Stripe
All payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe, not AgreeMintZ, stores and processes your full payment card details. We receive limited information from Stripe (e.g., success/failure, last 4 digits, expiration, billing country) to manage your subscription, detect fraud, and keep records.
Stripe has its own privacy policy; we encourage you to review it.
14. Links and third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services (for example, cloud storage, AI providers, or Stripe checkout pages). We are not responsible for those third-party services or their privacy practices. Review their policies separately.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and, where required, notify you (for example, by email or in-app). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
16. Your responsibilities (important)
Because you are using AgreeMintZ.ai to store third-party contracts and personal data, you are also a controller/business for that data. That means:
- you must have a lawful basis to upload/process that data;
- you must give any required notices to your own users/customers/contract parties;
- if someone sends you a privacy/right-to-know/right-to-delete request about data you uploaded, it’s mainly your job to respond — we’ll help as your processor if you ask us.
